Features transcripts of two Spanish documents allocating the land grants or porciones in Zapata County in 1767 & 1784 and those in Ciudad Guerrero, Tamualipas in 1767, according to the “ General Visita.” survey. The Zapata County transcript is translated from a document found in the Webb County Courthouse in Laredo, filed January 13, 1936. The Guerrero document from the Guerrero archives had been transcribed in Spanish into a typewritten manuscript, which has been edited by the author. Contains index.
