We do not normally carry work of fiction, but this novel about land grants in South Texas is very timely as efforts are being made by descendants of the Spanish and Mexican land grantees to obtain a measure of justice over the historical atrocities committed by outsiders including murder, fraud, and other theft of land and property. The events presented here, very skillfully by the author, are, no doubt,based on true stories. This is great read we recommend to our customers.
